Server Statistics
The Server Stat option on the IxServer Diagnostic dialog box opens the Socket Connections dialog box. This dialog box displays various statistics for each Ixia client computer connection to the chassis.
The Socket Connections dialog box is shown in the following figure.

The fields present in the Socket Connections dialog box are described in Table:Socket Connections Display.

Field Description ID
A generated ID number for the connection.
Port
The socket port being used for the user connection.
Peer Address
The IP address and TCP port of the session client.
User
The user name of the client computer , if he or she is logged in.
TimeUp
The length in time the connection has been linked to the IxServer. The format is hh:mm:ss.
Recv Msgs
The number of messages received from the client computer side of this connection.
Recv Bytes
The number of bytes received from the client computer side of this connection.
Recv Q
The socket connection receive queue size, in bytes.
Send Msgs
The number of messages sent to the client computer side of this connection.
Send Bytes
The number of bytes sent to the client computer side of this connection.
Send Q
The socket connection send queue size, in bytes.
Requests
The number of requests received from the client computer side of this connection.
Replies
The number of replies sent to the client computer side of this connection.
Foreign Requests
The number of unknown requests received from the client computer side of this connection.
Sndr State
The current state of the packet sender. Either up or down.
Rcvr State
The current state of the packet receiver. Either up or down.
Kill
Selecting this option terminates a highlighted connection.
Pause Recv Temporarily pauses all activity for the selected client; use only for debugging or as directed. TCPstat Prints output resembling the netstat command for TCP connections, showing additional information that is normally not available with the standard netstat command.
